Casual Day is a national annual fundraising event that takes place on the first Friday of September.

Here are 10 reasons why to take part in Casual Day and donate R10 for your sticker:
1. Rest assured that your R10 REALLY reaches our beneficiary organizations.
2. It’s a small price to pay to see your BOSS dressed differently.
3. R10 is nothing compared to the cost of an assistive device used by a person with a disability.
4. Cheaper than going to the DENTIST . . . . and you do that once a year!
5. It’s less than 2 cups of coffee at you favorite coffee shop.
6. The cheapest way to do some TEAM building!
7. R15 is so little to ask in order to make the world a BETTER place, yet it makes a world of difference where it is needed.
8. It will cost you just over R1 per month to SAVE, if you start now.
9. It costs less money (and calories) than a hamburger from your local take-away.
10. We cannot afford to lose YOUR contribution.

As always, Casual Day will be held on the first Friday in September which this year is on 2nd September 2011   You can dress as you may, just remember to wear your Casual Day sticker.   Casual Day kicks off in 2009 with more than R15 million that was raised in the 2008 project, enabling us to keep on helping thousands of people with disabilities in South Africa.  Our project would not have been so successful if it wasn’t for you, so on behalf of every individual who benefits from your donation…  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

We cannot change the whole world, but we can change the world for at least one person with a disability at a time.  Help us to make the world a better place by participating on Friday 4 September 2009.  We are looking forward to hearing from you!!  If you have any questions and/or orders please contact Mrs. Eve Steven at (015) 291-1787 or fundraiser@apdlimpopo.co.za.

The recipe to participate is as easy as this:
1. Convince your boss and colleagues to participate and collect R10 from everyone.
2. Obtain your Casual Day sticker at our organization, The Association for Persons with Disabilities, at Centenary House, Polokwane.
3.. Read something, listen to music and be thankful for your health . . .!!
